Most of the Seletar Airbase area will be torn down for a bigger aerospace 'hub' - sadly, a large part of the mini-London there will not be spared.

The mini-London in Seletar is currently a residential area with black and white bungalows. Purportedly built by RAF squaddies, all the roads are roughly laid out and named after roads or areas of London such as Hyde Park, Maida Vale, Baket Street, Oxford Street, Mornington Crescent (which is really a crescent), the Oval (which is really an Oval), and Piccadilly Circus (which, yes, is really a roundabout). Looking at the map in ST today, Knightsbridge, Regent Street, Edgware, and Hay Market will be torn down, including about a hundred or so black and whites.

Anyone up for a photo expedition there before they become just a memory?
